Adebanke Ilori

Adebanke Ilori has nine years of professional experience in law, community organizing, and development. She currently serves as the policy and organizing director of Metropolitan Organizing Strategy Enabling Strength (MOSES) in Detroit, Michigan. Prior to joining MOSES, she served as the executive director of Raising New Voices Initiative, a nonprofit initiative in Nigeria working on inclusive governance and legislative reforms. She also manages Lawyard, a digital platform promoting interactions around the practice of law in Nigeria. In Adebanke’s current role, she supports racial equity and social justice in Detroit and Southeast Michigan by facilitating the development of strong leaders in marginalized communities and promoting campaigns aimed at addressing pressing socio-economic issues.

Adebanke holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and a master’s degree in international development and policy from the University of Chicago. She also holds a certificate in public management from Bridgewater State University, Massachusetts.
